When Allison, a Vancouver gallery owner, boards a small plane bound for Dawson City, she just wants to meet a promising young First Peoples artist.
Mike, a passenger on the same flight, is returning home after a good tourist season to enjoy a well-deserved rest. She gives only a skeptical look to the sophisticated woman who sits next to her.
Neither the pilot nor the weather forecasters had foreseen the monstrous storm that forced a crash landing somewhere in the Yukon wilderness, far from any town or road.
The only survivors of the crash, the two women will have to help each other, adapt and overcome their prejudices in order to survive and return to civilization. Neither expected the feelings growing between them as they face hardship along the way.
